Rani Mukerji launches Mardaani anthem


To promote her upcoming film Mardaani, Bollywood actor Rani Mukerji has come up with a special anthem with the message that women are as strong as men.

Written by Kausar Munir and sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and Vijay Prakash, Tumko Nahin Chhodoongi has been composed and produced by Salim-Sulaiman.

"I was asked to see the film, and being a woman and a mother, I reacted emotionally to it. Aditya and Prakash asked me to express this reaction in words and make it a voice of a sensitive person," Kausar said here at the launch of Mardaani anthem.

The Google doodle made for the legendary India film star is certainly a very classic and artistic in taste. The doodle is kept simple with the letters GOOGLE placed along with the ever-smiling sketch of Kishore Kumar. If the users paid more attention to the doodle, they would notice the four different symbols at the four corners of the doodle. These four symbols represent the four elements of the multifaceted person Kishore Kumar had been.  The symbols in the clock-wise are related to acting shown by the two happy and sad masks, second one is the camera that marked Kishore Kumar as director, the third symbol of musical note highlights Kumar as the singer while the fourth symbol of notepad and pen reflects Kishore Kumar as the screenplay writer and script writer.

Undoubtedly one of the greatest name been the part of Indian Hindi cinema industry, Kishore Kumar was born on August 4, 1929 in Khandwa (present day Madhya Pradesh). And on his 85th birthday, search engine giants Google presented a classic doodle in the memory of the actor-singer. Kishore Kumar remains to be one of the lovable yet enigmatic personality ever been in Bollywood.
Kishore Kumar born as Abhas Kumar Ganguly entered the cine industry as the chorus singer at Bombay Talkies, where his brother worked. His made his first film appearance in Shikari (1946), the same film in which his brother Ashok Kumar played the lead role. Kishore Kumar’s first film as the lead hero was Andolan (1951) directed by Phani Majumdar.

Veteran actor Pran passes away in Mumbai


 



The 93-year-old actor, whose real name is Pran Krishan Sikand, has appeared in over 400 films from the 1940s to the 1990s and has played both positive and negative roles with equal passion. He is known for films like 'Zanjeer', 'Don' and 'Amar, Akbar, Anthony'.

Pran Krishan Sikand, better known by his mononym, Pran, was a multiple Filmfare and BFJA award-winning Indian actor, known as a movie villain and character actor in Hindi cinema from the 1940s to the 1990s.

He died after a spell of prolonged illness," his daughter Pinky told PTI. He was admitted to Lilavati hospital a month ago after his health started deteriorating, she said. The funeral of legendary actor Pran will be held on Saturday afternoon at Shivaji park in Dadar. The Dadasaheb Phalke awardee passed away on Friday night at a suburban hospital in Mumbai.

Hrithik Roshan Undergoes a Brain Surgery in Mumbai



Hrithik Roshan undergoes a successful brain surgery, to remove a clot at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai. Suzanne Roshan thanks all his fans, lovers, for their prayers and support.

Hrithik, was suffuring with chronic subdural haematoma and admitted to hospital on Saturday evening in Khar.

Hrithik undergoes with a 50 mintues neuro surgery.
